Someone who is advertising on Instagram and is receiving DMs from people by mistake? I'm receiving hundreds a day that are responding to a friend's story and ending up in my inbox.

Receiving hundreds of DMs from Instagram is overwhelming and confusing at the same time. It's possible that there could be a technical issue with Instagram that causing you to receive your friend's DMs. You can try logging out of your account and logging back to see if the that fixes your issue. It this issue still persists, you can contact the support of Instagram.
