ok so i am using a DMR generating program and it has two fields when creating the script pages "URL to go to if the referrer is not blanked" and "affiliate links". For the first entry i put in my site that my traffic is really not coming from that i want my cpa company to see. On the second line im putting in my affiliate link so that when people go to this page they will be redirected to my aff link.

However i uploaded the scripts it generated and typed in the url to the php file it gave me. It redirected me to the "URL to go to if the referrer is not blanked" but it should be going to my "aff link" i don't quite understand what's going on here. Anybody have any ideas?

Another quick question: Your aff company can only see the site that your leads were on before their affiliate page? right? or can they see more than 1 web page behind it?

    There's 2 possible reasons:

    1) You are using a browser that does not clean the referrer ie safari/chrome (can't remember which ones don't sorry). Hence it is doing what it is supposed to do, keep sending you to the first url in an attempt to clean the referrer. This is what will happen to some of your traffic - they will get lost in the loop.

    2) You haven't set up your links correctly. blackhatsite.com goes to whitehatsite.com/1.php goes to whitehatsite.com/2.php goes to affiliate link.

Although you only have 2 domains, you should have 3 url pages.

Make sure that you are pointing the urls correctly from whitehatsite.com/1.php to whitehatsite.com/2.php

As to your last question - NO. That's the point. It depends on the browser of each user who lands on the site.

I was testing this with opera which could be why.

My links are setup exactly the way you described but i think im going to do it another way. I don't actually want to blank the referrer. I want the cpa company to see my whitehat site because it is pretty legit and they wouldn't have a problem with it. First of all i will have my leads pasting the links in their browser. the link i will have them paste will be a page on my blackhat site so they still think its part of the site that they are currently on. Then it will redirect to a blank page on my whitehat site that will redirects them to the aff offer so it will be 2 redirect pages overall. but will they be able to see my blackhat site redirect page or just the link before the aff link which would be my whitehat redirect link. Or will i need to make 1 redirect from my blackhat site and 2 redirects from my whitehat site inorder for them to not see my blackhat site?
