Can anyone tell me if picking up dmoz listed domains is still worth it like it used to back in the day? I have a buddy that has over 400 of them and has offered them all to me for a decent price. Would just like to hear some thoughts if they still carry weight today. I know back in the day google used to seed there crawls from dmoz but I doubt they still do that today?

Thanks!

sure. but only if your ROI is good. Remember you have to pay for them yearly.

I would buy a few from you.. Let me know

Yeah the yearly thing is always a killer lol, just got done renewing close to 1,800 of them through godaddy. Ill pm you in a couple of days once the purchase is complete.

I might be interested in few of them as well.. i think if the price is right you should get as many as possible.

Yeah cant beat the price and he just renewed them all so at least I have a year to try and make some money back from them. Ill PM you as well Leena in a couple of days when the deal is complete.

Having that many sites is always a good idea if you paid the right money for them, also depending what you are going to do with them, were they all live sites with content? as you can do a few things if the sites are already up, personally i would use a chunk of them for my own sites, and the ones bringing in traffic maybe add some adds, I would also rent out out a few just to get some cash back, if you have some in the automotive Niche i could be interested if you want to move some
