Dmca?

I recently started a blog that formats in the "top 10 X" and other articles that are considered "viral"
What freedom do I have to post images that aren't mine?
I've read a bit online about DMCA and it seems that big names websites such as listverse or buzzfeed use any images they find freely.
Does giving the owner credit suffice (it seems to on websites listed above)

Also, I see websites that have "copyright complaint forms", does this prevent them from getting sued?

Really i'm at a loss here I didn't realise I had to have a degree in law to own a blog ..

i think, you face the fire ,when you earn or get viral/popular with someone else's property.unless its not that big issue all the time.

Ask for the permission to use their content and try to work out a compromise, I don't think Buzzfeed use images freely

I always try to source the image. Atleast that case you can say hey, I was just giving a link back and sharing content. That way it'll be less like stealing.

You can use the images if you have the consent of the copyright owner of the images, if you are the copyright owner of the images, or if the image is labelled for reuse. Doing otherwise can result in unwanted penalties that could have been easily avoided.

For example, in the case that you were to visit one of my websites, pilfer my images, and then place them on your website (with or without a source is irrelevant), this would leave you vulnerable to immediate litigation as I am not required to give you a warning before becoming litigious. These penalties are not low, either; they can range as low as $200 to as high as $150,000.

However, most copyright owners will either not care or they will ask for a link back to their website in exchange for using their images, although there have been cases where the copyright owner of an image has decided to sue the infringer without any prior warning. Again, this doesn't happen often, but I personally do not take the risk and only use images that I've created or images that have been labelled for reuse.

i wasted 4 days on trying to find this configuration i talk to maybe 30 companies each one dont have something else i will be glad if someone can help me to find this configuration (exactly):

1. dmca ignored
2. vps (i dont need too much because it is only for PBN with small sites without too much traffic
3. linux centos
4. ability to add c-class ip! (mean to assign each site to different location / c-class ip) - also called "seo hosting"
5. ability to host adult content (not something illegal!)
6. some dashboard like: directadmin (the chipset as possible or free)

another solution i need is cdn that is DMCA with good price

Do not use the images if you do not have the permission.

You can use even movie frames in your video without asking permission
So photo you can you easily, I believe. Just leave credits for it, at least
Anyway you can receive DMCA for anything (sometimes they claim dmca even on things for which they don't have rights)

Why u dont try grabbing royalty free images from websites like pexels, pixabay etc. I think those are safer than downloading images from Google directly

Yes, in a way, buzzfeed can use images that they find freely, why? because they let users to post contents on their site, and legally they are not responsible for user generated contents.
