How can I locate these groups? Some very basic ones come up with a little googling but not really specific enough or with the quality of accounts I seek.

All advice greatly appreciated.

Reach out to accounts that are similar in your niche and offer them to exchange like and comments with you. You can ask later on if they belong in a group or make your own group when you exchange with a decent amount of accounts to make it easier.

I suspect that will just be viewed as spam by those accounts though. Not convinced that would get a positive response.

If they know about engagement groups they won't see it as spam.
If you don't want to create your own group try to find accounts with similar followers in your same niche and look for those who get comments from the same people on most posts (and check if they comment on those accounts posts too) and ask them if they know any engagement group that you can join.

go on telegram that where a find all my engagement groups ask DM people in your groups and ask to join

I've done exchange groups in the beginning when starting a main account to get social proof yet at some point i stopped when i felt like there was enough organic following and engagement. I tend to believe it might actually hurt your engagement on the long run?

I asked a similar question and if you are just looking for likes you can try SNT bot(web app), toolcast(telegram),and boostgram(telegram). Toolcast also works with comments as well

For the groups really any that has people constantly posting works fine. Just find one of decent size. If it’s on telegram chances are you will be added to a few others by people trying to grow their groups

Engagement groups are most commonly hosted on telegram. So you may try to include telegram as well while you search. Or cross promoting between pages of similar size pretty much does the same thing. Scrape them & send DMs conveying your interest.

@thebritishsea yeah, I tried contacting people with similar sized accounts in my niche and found many treated me like a spammer. I did eventually gather enough to create a DM group for like/comments exchange but there were a lot problems with leaching and then people got annoyed at each other and it all got to be a pain to manage so I ditched it...So that was a huge waste of my time!

I use the Wolf groups on Telegram sometimes now but they're not the quality I'd like either and I also worry about it harming my trust score. There's no way IG is not detecting all that engagement coming in via links on an external app.

If you find a solution please share! :)
