DM ban?

Hey - recently did a paid shoutout that had really great success. Had about 200+ users wanting more info. I have started DM'ing them back and IG will only let me send 10-15 messages before banning me. Any idea what I can do? Total waste of $$ if I can't contact these people.

they need to message you first or email. you can only dm so many people at a time.

How old is your account how many followers?

but only 10? sounds crazy - how are you supposed to contact your customers with those kind of limitations? Is this the norm?

Very aged account - created in 2013. 16K followers. Not a full ban - just a temporary DM ban.
 
Are all those messages sent almost the same word for word?

its the norm, its to stop spammers. and it based on an hour to hour, not per day so slow down your message sending and you should be fine and also to send the same message over and over.

The initial contact message is very similar yes. We get about 200 or so customers who want to be contacted so we can't spend the time to write unique messages to each. Maybe the play is to have 3-4 preset messages already written and then cycle through them so it switches things up.

any idea if these limits would be lifted if the account was changed to a business account?

i believe the limits are set a bit further back, but they are definitely not gone. and you also risk a noticeable reduction in engagement when switching over.
 
All of my DM accounts has no video monetization from January, shows "0" every account. Does anyone know why? Any methods to resolve this? Thank you so much!
 
You can only dm like 50 people a day...they are fucking serious with DMs because they know it is the most efficient way to advertise yourself. I have tested it - followback is crazy high for people who actually check their dms.
