Anyone make money selling things they made themselves on ebay or etsy?

Work can almost everytime result in $.Thats how the world woks.We are 7 billion, so guess you will find 10-20 to buy your stuff.Also ppl go crazy for DIY stuff on ebay.Esspecialy woman!

Haha that's true "especially women"! I'm really interested in advice from those who have been successful in doing this. If anyone has any pointers.. please let me know thanks!

You don't need inspiration.You either do it or you don't!You think those other sellers on eBay that are doing this , are doinit for lack of imagination?They are doin it because they make money.Thats the evidence you should do it too.Its true that its kinda hard to sell anything this days with th "crysis" but if you use your imagination and come up with something new or better you will have a place guaranteed on the list of ppl who are making money from DIY.
I never did this , but i can lie to you and give you really good advice and act like i would have alot of experiece,if thats what you need to get motivated.But i won't lie to you.The money is there.Just grabb it!

I think you can make money if you have a good enough product, photograph the product in a favorable way, and keep promoting your items everyday to build it up.

Yes it is possible to make money doing this on eBay. But the people who make the most money are the ones who do it
because they enjoy it, then they start selling it on eBay.

I make my living there too! Here are some things I've seen DIY's be successful with; Find the hot selling baby nursery crib bedding sets and make customized items that match (light switch plates, wall art, etc). What's the current hottest toy? Monster High Dolls are still pretty huge, saw a guy who makes custom Monster High Doll Houses. Display cases for collectibles ie., littlest pet shop toys. A while back I came across a bunch of tablecloths from a popular china pattern so I made bread basket liners. Birdcage or toaster covers? in eBay search the word "custom", see what comes up. Check out Pinterest and search popular or custom. Bridal or baby shower items? Good luck!
