Diving into FB ads for the first time tomorrow. Any advice please?

So, ive been tasked with promoting this crowdfunding campaign for "christmas trump" dolls that are perfect christmas gifts. I've also decided to use FB ads' custom audience with a list of previous backers on kickstarter I have. Is there anything i've missed or likely to miss, i'll appreciate your contributions.

Yes, It´ll be better to use Facebook ads to collect and create a database from you audience. However, it´s very important to use a very creative strategy (promos, trials, video or images) in order to attract your target audience.
