Lately, I've spent a lot of time thinking about how to diversify my crypto portfolio beyond just holding bits of the top 2, Bitcoin and Ethereum.

I understand that the market is so full of altcoins, and it can be tempting to go all-in on a trending token, but I've realized that doing some research into different sectors of the crypto ecosystem can make a very big difference.

For instance, DeFi projects offer interesting opportunities, and some Layer 2 solutions are also gaining traction due to their scalability advantages.

To be honest, it’s easy to get lost in all of the hype, but taking a step back and understanding the long-term potential of these projects is key in my opinion.

That said, I'd like to know if anyone else is exploring different sectors in the crypto space? What’s your strategy?

I don't diversify I concentrate on some alt coins that I like and have put great sums of money in them.

It is good to target upcoming narratives like RWA or AI. Look for projects in relevant niches that are just starting.

absolutely, couldn't agree more with @nftworld . long term hold is utter shit , rather follow the trend . trend will make money

Instead of diversifying, focus on trends, long term hold is just shit in my opinion,
So basically focus on tokens or projects that are trending? Do you think this might limit your profit potential, as there's a belief that if a project is trending them you're already late.

I would appreciate you mentioning a few that you think are doing very well, I hope you don't mind.

Okay, how do you decide the coins to double down on?
I measure past performance. For example dogecoin has an all time high at 0.74$ If I've bought lower than that price I'm not selling when it reaches 0.74$ or more again.
