Recently i saw some dispute threads and thought it need a dispute badge for a disputed seller.

Become some seller use the resolution time to scam more people until they get banned.

The buyer who are not aware about that there is ongoing dispute against the seller contact the seller get scammed.

So i think there should be a badge with note that - the seller or member having a ongoing dispute deal with precaution. Or something better you can add.

In this way seller try to resolve the dispute as fast as possible and buyer will get a alert before dealing .

You know, this was suggested recently before and we rejected the idea at the time.

The concern at the time was that we might hurt the business of a member who isn't necessarily a scammer, but one who just couldn't work an issue out with a customer.

However, I think I know of a way to make this work: you see, we've had an issue with disputes where the seller takes the conversation to these platforms, rips the buyer off, and then deletes the chat and pretends the transaction never happened. They're not as sly as they think they are, but it is a very annoying problem that wastes a lot of our time.

Whilst we can't spend time making a badge, we can change the user title to "DISPUTE IN PROGRESS" if they have an open dispute against them and they took the conversation to Telegram/Skype/whatever instant-messaging platform. This would be at our discretion for the moment rather than a cold hard rule to prevent someone from opening disputes against a competitor just to hurt their reputation.

@BassTrackerBoats handles the disputes more often than I do, so I'll run this by him as something to trial and see if we can start doing this.
