Ok....by now we can all agree that 2020 will be defined by the Covid-19 Pandemic around the globe.

Here are some things I am SICKENED by during this great time of need,
and have decided it is time to do my part to help whomever I can.

1. GOV bailouts for corporations and their damn buddies
2. Deaths - both young and old - RIP everyone
3. GOV inability to work together and do good for the actual people in need
4. Businesses forcibly shut down to around the world
5. CRAPPY marketing, and constant Virus messages from businesses
of all types (fast food, banks, apps, etc...)....it's complete and utter garbage.

We should all ask ourselves what WE can do to provide REAL, and BASIC
human needs like food, shelter, and security?

.... I won't get into my own opinions or conspiracy theories here about the global elites....
but feel free to share your own below....

*** With that said, if you or someone you know is in great need of help or assistance during
this time of world chaos - the likes most of us have not seen in our lifetime, I'd like to help ***

NOTE: PM your story and type of assistance requested - I will do my best to accommodate.

That's very true and i think my gmail got the virus looking at how many companies send me thoes type of messages

Unfortunately, I don't have a private jet. If flights are grounded, or certain GOVs shut down travel, not much I can do.
Thanks for sharing that though
 
An initiative where n95 masks were sourced and sent to an under supplied hospital that is desperate for them seems to be the most effective way that tangible help could be given right now.

That seems to be one of the biggest problems right now, yet I’ve seen even a few people on here that have sourced hundreds of bags of exactly these kinds of masks to sell for profit, so must be possible to source some with the intent of donating them too.

I just checked the thread @TomTheCat posted and it's the wrong one. There was a guy stuck in Turkey without any money and there was an executive VIP urging him to contact a guy on Twitter...

That's all I remember, if I stumble upon the thread, I'll be sure to share it with you.

Amazing, the world need people like you keep up the good work.
 
Friends and I have taken action to help people with the virus. We buy food for them and drop it off at their doorstep. We started with 2 families in my town and we're already overwhelmed with 15 families who have come forward. It is not a big action, but by doing so, we are avoiding putting people who are not infected at risk.
This is something that can be implemented on a small scale by each of us with people in real need in their city.

We are doing the same - buying food for elders and single mom's, and drop off around the city. Almost got fined twice.

We can all do at least something small to help each other.

@LukaB, thank you for being such a great member of this community!
 
Currently organizing grocery delivery for elderly in my area... everyone can do the same.

In italy, they found elderly people dead, alone in their beds. That sounds like the worse kind of hell to me.

Also organizing an online/skype/zoom sort of thing to keep people connected. Suicides will start happening soon... people don't understand how disconnected some people in our society are. This virus has basically cut lonely people off from random contact. That random contact is all some people have.
