I want to do some YouTube videos but stay anonymous. So I'm planning on showing my body (fully dressed for the record) but not my face and I also would like to disguise my voice. Is there a way to alter your voice slightly, either software or hardware, that's not too freaky?

I don't want to sound robotic or like something out of an 80's horror flick. I just want a slight alteration to my voice so the boys in the office won't say, "I recognize that bastard!"

If you get cheap stuff its not going to work, well. I already tried using some earlier last year and it didnt work.

Most modern video editing software has pitch shift/adjustment features (autotune ftw), you could probably just make a very subtle adjustment to the pitch of your recorded voice and it'd be un-noticable to the users, and unrecognisable as you. Two clicks of the mouse and you'll sound as husky a voice as Barry White.

Look on torrent sites for AV Voice Changer or MorphVox.
