[DISCUSSION] Retention Views (80% <) vs. Video Promo (Adsense)

Hey Guys,

I was just wondering if anyone has experimented with these two means of promotion.

I am currently promoting a video through adsense with youtube, but it seems quite expensive in comparison to purchasing retention views to rank my video, then letting the views pour in after that.

My SEO for my video is on POINT, and the content is quality, I just am working on ranking the video. I posted it yesterday, and have received 350 views and 20 likes from various means, all "white hat." Just wondering if anyone has tested these two methods against each other.

Well Im buying YT views from AdSense. It's 10$ per 1000 views, but at least they dont obviously use adblock, so they are the perfect subscribers. I will get the money back from them in some time, since many of them will watch my other videos and future videos.

I would love to hear some AdSense strategies!

if you can affotd it purchase followliker or a bot for a certain social media site, then buy some dedicated proxies from a seller 20 a month is enugh and follow people who follow big accounts in your niche.

do a couple of months and then start promoting your videos.

also you could buy massplanner and make 20 facebook accounts and slowly add people and hen after you hit a good number of friends start promoting your videos.

social networking is the ticket for youtube videos IMO.

Isn't it not exactly 1000 though? When I run my campaign, if I choose $10 a day, it gives me between 250 - 1000 views. Of course, you only pay the $10 if people view. So that makes sense. I'm more talking to rank a video though, as opposed for actual views.

Have you successfully implemented this strategy or just regurgitating? In theory, that would be a great strategy, that's why I ask.
