I?m new to srcapebox and I have some questions and thoughts about using proxies or not.
I run scrapebox from my pc at home which is connected with UL/DL 1Mbit/16Mbit to the internet. I can manually change my IP whenever I want. Of course it changes only in the IP range of my ISP.
As far as I understood actually there are no legal issues regarding comment spam. The main purpose of proxies is to hide a possible footprint from anti spam tools and search engines. I think this will work if you use a large amount of proxies. But when you buy private proxies you will have maybe 10 or 20 different IPs, depending on how much you can afford. Which I think is not an effective amount to hide your footprint when you comment on thousands of blogs with that IPs.
To me it seems to harvest public proxies and to change them every day (or less) is the better, but more time consuming way to cover your footprint.
Another more fast way for posting comments is to use your own IP and to ?pause? scrapebox while the posting process and to change your IP manually. This works best for me, because of the high success rate. But I?m a little worried about the consequences this could have if somebody does not like my comments
.
I?m curious what is your opinion about the use of proxies / private proxies / ISPs IPs, cause up to now I could only find more or less ?religious discussions? about to use private or public proxies with not much background information?s why people really do it.
