I'm new to this site of course, and like all newbies we just type in "How to make money". All I see though is post from 2010-2012. So my question is wouldn't all the methods be outdated. Like how hacking was easier when it first came out since not a lot was knew about it. Now since it is more mainstream it is harder to do it. So wouldn't the same applies to IM? Of course there a people who live by using IM, but aren't they the old hermits who keep the best methods to them selves to keep themselves safe in the changing world like it commonly said "Don't Keep all your eggs in one basket". Of course there are people like Billy Batts who donated his chaturbate way, but I'm sure he doesn't share his main way of making money.

Okay. I just wasn't sure thought the methods would end up patched somehow.
Methods get outdated if you keep taking the same approach. Affiliate Marketing is essentially a industry where methods are constantly being regurgitated but people innovate ideas and create new angles using the same principles. No need to invent the wheel. Just use whats already working and ass your own twist to it.
A couple more points for the OP
Like how hacking was easier when it first came out since not a lot was knew about it = Hacking isn't permitted on this forum, we're not that type of forum.

I understand the fact that I'm supposed to take an old method and make it own but i was asking in general. Like how methods could get saturated. There a methods that say go into a YouTube video and type your clink you get people to click it. What is the chance of people clicking that I mean everyone knows how the internet works. Even 10 year old kids on YouTube are trying to teach people to hack i mean ya.
@MisterF I know that Mister F but i was just making a example. I also understand that Billy Batts wouldn't give out is best methods of course. Why would he. He spent time on perfecting a method that he could live off of why would he give it out for for free. I was just saying that the best methods are the ones kept to themselves.

Old methods dont work anymore. That is why you dont see anyone opening new restaurants these days.

you are right. people generally do not share their main big earners. because why saturate it with 1000's of competitors? they share after they move on to something bigger, or they leave out pieces of info.
old methods not working is an excuse. my main method has been one i learned in 2013; still going strong in 2018.
but try this method in 2018 following steps a-b-c like the OP mentioned, probably won't make you big money.
day 1 i did it, easy $100 a day. next week half of BHW is doing same thing, my revenue down 95% because i have hundreds of competitors all trying to get a slice of the same pie.
like most methods shared here, applying a twist will separate you from 1000's of other marketers who are trying the same thing and catapult your revenue.
how did i learn twists? tried & failed many methods over the years. its like anything with doing. a master has failed more times than the student has ever tried.

There are so many methods shared here and once you start a project, you will see more oppurtunites if you are a good observer.

Methods evolve, no method is really dead as they can be twisted and applied in different situations.
