    Hello All,

    So I wanted to share a couple of things with you and maybe you can tell me I am talking boXXocks or tell me why I am wrong in what I am saying.

    First G**gle -

    I read about 0.01p clicks on G**gle so I wanted to see what type of traffic it brought. The vast majority of the clicks came from China, various parts of the UAE, some Latin Am, it was what you would expect. Now what I noticed is that the time spent on the site was always long 6-7 mins, the bounce rate was ridiculously low. When I ended the campaign I still had a lot of return visitors coming back onto the site and again staying on the site for 6-7 mins.

    What's funny about the results is that I was advertising a very specific niche and not one inquiry resulted from this even though these people spent so much time on the site.

    This behavior does not seem human but very bot like. Then I ask myself why would G**gle be arsed to rob people of 0.01p. Love to hear peoples feedback on this.

    FB -

    Couple of points with this;

    1. Have you noticed you can run a CPC campaign and, for example, the figures work out that your advert is seen by 1000 people 50 of which click through at a cost of 10p each (total £5) but then whenever you switch to CPM the CTR always turns to shit. Exactly the same campaign, target market and advert but the results of the CPM campaign will always be worse. What are the odds on this, it just doesnt stack up at all.

    2. I just clocked onto this one. I have two separate FB pages and I just initiated a campaign for one which gave me a CPC of 0.09p so I log out of that and log into FB page number 2 and put together the exact same campaign and it is charging me a CPC of 0.26p! Anyone have an idea as to why there would be a discrepancy for the exact same campaign?

    I think FB makes up some of its numbers for advertising purposes, it is not as clear as G**gle.

    Now I could be sitting here with a tinfoil hat on, I really would like someone to give me an explanation as to why there would be discrepancies in FB or people would return to a site from a very niche G**gle ad and spend a total of 15 mins on there (thousands of them) without 1 inquiry. Alternatively if you have seen things that have seemed odd you can post them here too.

    Regards,

    Anthony

    Im just dicking with you bro. I would be interested to here more of your theories on the shitty google traffic, perhaps you should try and setup a honeypot with advanced tracking and see if it is bot traffic. Start a conspiracy
