Discovering CyberPanel

What Hosting Panel do you currently use?

Good Day Fellow BHW Members,

We all know about cPanel, DirectAdmin, and the like for our shared hosting and VPS accounts.

I discovered something two days ago called CyberPanel! While reading the literature I though to good to be true. CyberPanel is a free hosting panel that

includes OpenLiteSpeed! OpenLiteSpeed is a step down from the not-open source LiteSpeed; however, it is still better than apache is everyday of the week.

CyberPanel is simply, minimalist, and straight forward. I was using DirectAdmin on my VPS and when I discovered CyberPanel, I reinstalled CentOS 8 and

started fresh with CyberPanel. If your trying to save money and speed up your website/server/vps, I recommend you consider CyberPanel.

Sure we all love cPanel, that love cost $15 a month if your using a VPS. For a Graphical User Interface (GUI), CyberPanel is more than sufficient comparied

to our first love cPanel. I thought I could not continue on in this world without my beloved cPanel, then comes along CyberPanel...

This is my first time ever hearing of AAPanel. According to the literature, "aaPanel is the International version for BAOTA panel ." I am from the United States and have never been exposed to AAPanel. We have to further investigate. I noticed AAPanel has many plugins to prevent it from being bloated, that is a great feature.

On of the fastest and reliable Control Panels i have ever used (outside cPanel). We use it on every single server we have.
 
I used to use Cyberpanel/litespeed, but it got too hard to fix errors in the backend. Not enough quality documentation out there.

CyberPanel's Knowledge base will take time to develop. I simply host a file sharing website on the VPS I have an use CyberPanel on. If you have a dynamic website or use your VPS or server for more advanced functions and do not want to use command line, I can understand why CyberPanel is not best for you. If your not using CyberPanel, what are you using and how much are you paying for a lovely GUI? Also, was it OpenLiteSpeed giving you the trouble or Cyberpanel, or both?

When I have time to play around, I will give AAPanel a try. Do you use AAPanel with Apache, LIteSpeed, OpenLiteSpeed, or Nginx?
 
C panle and Vesta only here, but you need to be a little careful with the vesta panel.

depends, I use all of em, never used LiteSpeed on it tho

Vesta, another panel I have never heard of. Does not seem to be much documentation out there for support. One requirement for using any hosting panel is considering support.

After using a LiteSpeed server, you could not pay me to use an Apache server... Apache is like dail-up internet and LiteSpeed is like Fiber-optics Internet.
 
I use RunCloud, it produces fast sites combined with Vultr HF servers.

RunCloud appears to really be limited to where it can be installed. I am glad it is working out for you. I am learning alot about obscure hosting panels today.

It can be installed on any vps or regular server anywhere .. So no limits at all, except form not offering emails, but Google Workspace covers that.

According to the documentation, it appears it must be installed on Ubuntu 18.04...
 
I've worked with a variety of panels and configs, from cpanel, directadmin, centos Web panel to ispconfig and cyberpanel. I find cyberpanel with OLS works great without needing much in tweaking. It makes it easy to hit the Lcp, fcp, cls metrics with a good wp theme. Prior to it, the fastest setup I was running was a varnish reverse proxy with apache on ispconfig. I'd say the two panels I find best to work with are cyberpanel and directadmin
 
Hosting with a basic cpanel shared hosting in about 2 months i will switch to ovh vps+cyberpanel, aapanel can also be a nice alternative.

With CyberPanel, it is as if everything I need is right in front of me. Not excessive in options, just straight forward. I know a child can learn to use CyberPanel. It is so easy, I wonder why I ever used shared hosting

I have only ever had cPanel for shared hosting. I was raised on cPanel when I had my first hosting account when I was 15. I have nothing against cPanel, except the cost add up. cPanel, then CloudLinux, then LiteSpeed, all those cost add up, plus the cost of the VPS. CyberPanel is all around a good choice. If I were wealthy, sure, I would use cPanel with CloudLinux and LiteSpeed on a VPS, but I am not.
