Discover what backorder service caught expiring domain

How can I find out what backorder service caught an expiring domain? Of course I can manually check as many known backorder services as possible but is there another way that will make it much more easier to pinpoint the domain backorder service?:cow04:

Use whois : the registrar is in there.

It wouldn't show the backorder service that caught the expired domain, just the registrar.
