Disavowing Links

    Should I disavow backlinks from any domain which is no longer active or indexed? Interested in other peoples taughts on this.

    You should definitely remove any outbound links on your website that link to dead domain names.

    Google ranks websites based on how user friendly they are to the searchers they send there, and your users probably don't want to be clicking on a bunch of dead links now do they? ;)

    hmmm... maybe I asked a silly question... maybe not. But you didn't understand the question. I meant de-indexed backlinks linking to my site... not links listed within my site to other sites. It is more to do with PBN issues than dead links.... Anyway I got it sorted.
    regarding internal...I make sure my internal and outbound links are fine.

    If the link is deindexed, it automatically means that it doesnt exist in Google system anymore, so there is nothing to disavaw.

    mmm ok that makes sense although I was thinking along the lines of -> penalized site -> is deindexed but -> still linking to my site. .
    In this case I had the ;ink removed and replaced.
