Disavow these backlinks or somenthing more?

Hello BHW forum, I have a question.

Checking my website's Google Search Console, I noticed that I recently received about 8900 backlinks to the homepage from a site I don't know. I went to check the type of website and I landed on an site of my country but with a blank page and only the words "403 FORBIDDEN".

Then I searched for this site on Google, entering the command "site: nameofthissite.it" and the first serp result is this site that has the name of my website in the Title and the same description copied from my homepage in the Description!

How to move in these situations?
I made a disavow of the domain in question, is that enough or can I proceed in other ways, especially because this site is practically copying and pasting my contents?

Even if it has no net effect on your ranks, try not to let them stay.

Disavow domain level (domain if you can't trust it and don't worry more about it.

8900 links from single domain; that means the link was most probably in footer or sidebar.
However google might ignore that link anyway if that website is showing "403 FORBIDDEN" now. In any case, disavowing should be enough though not needed if that link has not hurt you.

I normally don’t push for disavow unless you’re 100% sure they’re harmful hence think twice before you disavow them

disavow them as soon as you can.

It is better to disavow these kinds of links.
