Hi gurus.

I just started tinkering with Bing Webmaster Tools, and I see a section called 'disavow links'.

Would you ever want to disavow a backlink?

Mostly no but if it’s spammy and cause rank drop then do it otherwise don’t

You would not want to disavow links without having valid reasons to do so!

If those are spammy links and make you site derank then use disavow tool and you will be fine

It's a tool created by search engines to get to know the latest link building techniques as some moron SEO will at some point do it thinking that will remove the penalty. In reality your penalty will remain and give search engines one more arsenal to look out for such links for other sites.

That are spammy links you can remove it. Webmaster tools will help you to identify this link and you can remove it.
