So any advice for the PRO's?
I used to have my keywords instead of "HOME PAGE" 10 years ago, this is too nooby.

A variation of the first tip:
In my wordpress blog, my logo at the very top is named after my keyword i.e. keyword.jpg. and also the "alt" tag is my keyword and the jpg links to the home page.
So as in the original tip, I have on every page a link back to my home page, not as an anchor text, but still a powerful link.
My site ranks number 1 for my keyword
