    You guys use them?

Was looking around, Submit Eaze caught my eye (and on this forum, Submitter Elite might as well).

Any thoughts on such software or any other recommendations?

Generally speaking, they're about as much use as a chocolate fire-guard. The only real value a directory can provide is human traffic, but there's an extremely limited number of directories that are actually used by people and those, generally, are extremely well moderated (think DMOZ).

The reason behind most directories being utterly useless is that they're considered linkfarms by Google and therefore won't pass you any link juice / PR.

I don't agree with Bryanon, with my websites I have seen some good results with just directory submissions.

There is some truth in what bryanon is saying. A lot of directories are completely useless now and have been disqualified by Google. This is likely down to lots of low quality sites being accepted.

    BUT

Many sites rank well almost entirely on directories. Honestly I kid you not directories can rank you well, you just need a lot of decent quality directories. The real best one you have to pay for, the free ones are a lot harder to come by and you will probably find nobody is willing to give you a list :)
