sup guys,

i bought a list of 200 links for directory websites. would it be a good idea to add my site to those sites? Or would google classify it as spammy?

Depends on the directory. You should however work with the presumption, that every directory link is shit unless proven otherwise.

Links from spam free directory that monitor which sites are submitted can be useful. I mainly use them to get a lot of brand, generic and naked links, so I can use more exact anchor links on PBNs and guest posts. Directory links can be used for stuff like this, but in general won't help you rank.

Yes manual created accounts and submission is useful, but use this submissions as tier 2 links.

These sites are absolutely worthless for SEO purposes these day. Youv'e completely waste your time. I'd love to see any kind of study or metrics that demonstrate these links have any impact on building a websites search rankings. These were done away with after the penguin and panda updates and you really need to move on from this strategy.

I will suggest not to waste time on directories else spend your valuable time and money on quality sites and content. Almost 99% of directory submission sites are not valuable or I can say is spammy. Directories was beneficial at some time but in this era or quality work I think they don't have that much enough value.
