From what i read on BHW when publishing content such as blogposts you want to aim for 1k+ words. My question is does this also apply to directory listings?
When i submit a new listing to my site, each listing contains 200-300 words, which includes a small "about" paragraph and then goes on to cover opening times, entry fees etc etc.
Would be hard to get anywhere near 1k words on the page without adding completely irrelevant text to the listing.
Do any of you have experience in running a directory site, or know whether 200-300 words is fine for this type of site.
Note, i use a listing plugin on a wordpress site with yoastSEO plugin, all other on page seo is met, just not recommended word count.
