Hey all,

I just created my first campaign with DirectCPV and set my URL to show as an e-mail submit. The e-mail submit is a gift card for the store URL I'm targeting. I'm wondering...is this a good method? After I got to thinking a little bit, it seems like if it was this easy, everyone would do it. Has anyone had any success with this? If not, does anyone have any tips on what's best to promote using DirectCPV?

Thanks guys,
Ricky

from my experience, directCPV is the network with the lowest conversion rate.

Thanks, I've read those threads too. Unfortunately, I've already sent them payment to fund my account so I'm going to have to use the funds that are there before switching to somewhere else. My question was more asking what others thoughts on the best way to utilize a CPV service and if the way I'm doing it is any good or a waste of time.

You are better off using directCPV for list building opposed to cpv offers.

However, if you want to use it for CPA offers here is my advice to you... target coupon/discount code site URLs and promote free gift card and coupon style offers. Also, do not direct link unless you have prior approval from your network.

Directcpv is pretty much garbage traffic. I never really made anything happen over there. what tsmash said is probably your best bet at making any real money over there.

Be careful with DirectCPV - I used them to try list building + promote various offers. Got loads of traffic where people were using targeted phrases to land at my page but NOTHING converted. I wasted about $500 and will not go back.

The best quality traffic is at Trafficvance. To get high conversions, you should always create your own entertaining landing pages! Funny landing pages or landing pages with a one answer survey converts the best!

From my experience DirectCPV is using loads of bot traffic. I have tested it with a mousetracking tool and it was clearly a script moving the mouse around. RON is the worst and gives you about 99% bot traffic. Keyword and URL targets probably 85%.
