I'm attempting at securing some direct site placements with some places I'm pulling off of Quantcast. I'm emailing to the site owners, and it's pretty time consuming.

I have not heard good things about Buysellads.com. Are there any other sites that would make this process easier?

Try to go to google blog search and find the most trafficed blogs for your keywords then contact the owners for small test buys.
