Direct Message with links ?

Hi again,

Im using tweetadder for the automatic tweeting, and tweepi to unfollow and follow. But I noticed tweeadder won't send any messages with a link inside, weither its facebook or soundcloud or youtube. I still see a lot of people sending me what looks like automatic messages after I follow them. Any clues on what I might sue to do that ?

Sorry to bump this thread, but i'm pretty sure someone has an answer in here. How can I insert links in DM without using a service such as unfollows.com who do self promotion ?

I have 2 workarounds i use:
Insert -before link and send
Or i tweet my link and then copy that tweets url and dm using that twitter allows its own links to be dm'd..this works better than previous as its two clicks for the user and on to the site some users are lazy to copy and paste

Thanks for the twist. Im still looking for a way to insert a real link in it. I know its possible im wondering how they do it.

Some bots only allow link shortners, so try bitly or google or whatever other shortner you like. Also... have you tried putting "http://" in front of the link? It really shouldn't make a difference but it might be worth a try.

Yeah tried both, with bit.ly and fb.me and anything really . Im still confused
