All my social media accounts link directly to affiliate offers, is that stupid? I started thinking if I would benefit having a website, so I could leverage the thousands of clicks I get each day. Would it hurt conversions due to more complexity for the user? Could I make more money by having ADs on my site? I don't really want to manage a website and make things more difficult for myself, but I'm wondering if im leaving money on the table. How do you guys operate?

I’ve tried both direct-linking and sending traffic through a simple site.
Direct links are clean and fast, but you’re right — you can’t do much with the traffic after the click.

A basic landing page (even 1 page) gives you room for:
• retargeting
• testing different offers
• capturing emails if you ever decide to

It won’t kill conversions if the page is simple and loads fast.
You don’t need a full “website” — even a lightweight page can give you more options long term.

Direct linking works short term, but using a simple bridge website usually increases long-term profit by adding tracking, retargeting, email capture, and ads without significantly hurting conversions.

You’re not wrong, but adding a simple bridge like a lightweight website or email capture can increase long-term earnings and control without hurting conversions if it’s clean and value-focused.

Use a landing page since it helps keep the profile safer. Using direct links might get your profile flagged. That being said, using a landing page is good.

Yes, there’s a real chance you’re leaving money on the table, depending on how you do it.

Depends on the offer. A VSL offer page converts better with direct links. A landing page converts better with link directly to the checkout page.
A social media spytool can really help you down to each offer you are promoting.
You can get a trial or a groupbuy of the most of the top spytools.
