Direct linking vs landing page

Hey guys,
which one do you think will convert better, direct linking or landing page (btw i'm using PPD)

I think an own landing page is more effective because:
a) you can add other ads (eg. pay per view)
b) there is a script to load other yt-videos in the background (the videos are played unnoticed) to increase the views of your other videos.
c) a direct link does not trust the user. with a reputable page you managed trust so that people download the file

Landing page will be the better option for you.

A lot of persons will suggest you to use your own LP, but honestly I always use the direct link.
