Direct Linking To Checkout And Tracking

Hey everyone.

I am promoting a CB product, but it looks like the sales page of the merchant isn't converting at all. So I would like to direct link to checkout, skipping merchant's sales page and still be able to track my keywords using tids/CB's cookies.

I've read here that you could show the merchant's page using iframe, but some people said that it could get you in trouble with CB.

I was wondering if you guys know any way to direct link to checkout and still track keywords/use CB's cookies. I've heard about redirecting but couldn't find any information on how to use it to keep cookies.

Cookie stuff your own affiliate link on a separate stand alone page so the customer only actually gets the cookie if they click the buy it now button.


Sales page > buy button > 'purchase.html - cookie drop - redirect' > merchants paypal page

This works when looking stats in CB, not sure if its against any tos but your not really doing anything bad, your only dropping the cookie if they click the buy or purchase button but in an indirect manor.

You may want to consider creating your own similar product with a much better sales page. Otherwise, you are probably building a much better sales page and direct linking to CB checkout. Unless the product requires a ton of support, this may work out better for you in the long run. Why not create your own similar product and collect 100% of the sale?
