Ive focused on Pinterest but it's not the only way.i do think it's a great platform, though. If you enjoy it, I think you should give it your best shot.
I know things like Snapchat can be profitable but i don't enjoy the platform as much. Pinterest is more than enough to drive traffic imo, depending on your niche. Yes, it's possible to start and I would recommend using canvas as well for your pins.

Well if your ideal audience is on Pinterest then yes, but why not go for Fb, Insta and Twitter as well? Don't you think any of these will come in handy for you?

Pinterest is great for the female market and there's so much you can do on there. I've found really great results by doing things that are quite creative on there as that's what sells.
I also find that Pinterest captures a slightly older female demographic too - family/wholesome stuff REALLY works great there!

It is possible, but probably not the best idea to do so.
Pinterest works really well for certain markets and not so well for others.
Women related products...fashion etc do quite well, but things like software not so well.
Try looking at other networks such as Facebook and YouTube.

Yes it's possible to start online marketing. Pinterest is the best platform to get more traffic.
