Yeah, I wouldn't get greedy with it if you can't handle a suspension of the eBay account. That's another reason to only list it for a couple days, preferably on a weekend.
Next time I'm going to up it a bit with something a bit more expensive and see how it goes. Ill try it next weekend and post the results here.

I don't know. I didn't have any luck either. From what I gather eBay made an attempt to compete with Craigslist like a decade ago but it never amounted to anything and barely existed since, buried and unknown to most. I'm guessing they finally got rid of it. This is from a year ago....

thanks for this informative post, please keep us updated. I am thinking about doing the same thing but i am still a little skeptical of a potential suspension. I could very well imagine that listing it only for short amount of time will decease the likelihood of getting suspended. Anyway, wish you good luck.
