Difficulty changing country

Hi all,

So I'm having difficulty changing the country my TikTok account appears in. I'm located in Canada and I'm using Express VPN to have the location be based in the US, I've removed the SIM card, and I've also blocked a lot of Canadian accounts that appear in my feed along with adding and liking American accounts. Are there any other tips or things I'm missing so my TikTok appears in America?

I am using NordVPN and I always check my IP before opening TikTok ( it can get laggy sometimes ), it's working pretty good...
 
i have the same problem, even with nordvpn

the GEO ip is working, but when i installed tiktok,but tiktok suggesting me the wrong GEO, not the country from my VPN ..

Did you manage to fool it completly? It seems to know my location even with VPN...
 
you can not change the country in tiktok even you use any VPN.

even if you use vpn they will find your exact location. they don't use ip for location, they use google and your location history. so you are using a smartphone, congrats you are an open book.
 
You are leaking some kind of identifying info then. I haven't heard much about Express VPN and whether it's good or not, but I would think proxies would be more effective than VPN for Tik Tok.
