Different ways to make money on a Facebook page?

Hi Guys,

I have a facebook fanpage that I started a few years ago that I completely forgot about. I remembered again about a year ago, but I don't know what to do with it. There is 181k 'Likes' but I have no idea how to make money from this? I get around 2-3 messages per week offering to buy the page.... Are these a scam? Is there any other things I could do to make money and keep the page?

The people who are contacting you about buying it are most probably scammers, so don't fall for that sort of trap.

If you want to make some quick money then I suggest you sell status updates to people. Keep them active for a certain number of hours, and charge them.
You can try to sell on fiverr.com for instance.

inactive page? no "talking about this" for sure... post some first and increase "talking about this" and start making money....

promote your website with ads..
promote your website with lockers
create more fanpages and advertise it.
sell it when have more "talking about this"

Thanks for the advice! One question... what is 'lockers'?

I agree and suggest same. Sell Services of status Updates.

fan pages with ads are earning lots of monkeys nowadays.. if you have not less than 20k views then start monetizing it..

Any particular niche these are targeted with on Facebook? You need to know the people you are targeting before
running a campaign on them.
