So I know I've been posting a lot here in BHW to fully understand SEO. I'm currently on a good start on my AdSense website.

Now I would like to ask what are different kind of backlinks? Does it matter based on your niche or type of websites?

Like if I have AdSense site I should focus on this kind of backlinks? Or if I have eCommerce website, I should focus on this kind of backlinks?

Just focus on Niche related high-quality backlinks & if you have low budget then you can use topic related forum backlinks(Only high-quality forum links only)
 
Yes, it becomes extremely important to aim only for websites that are topically related to your brand and then maximize your efforts in earning a backlink from them.

There are many types of backlinks like Guest Blogging Backlinks, Editorial Backlinks, Relationship-based Backlinks, Acknowledgment Backlinks, and so on.
The quality of the backlink and its reliability to your site matters a lot.
You should have backlinks only from the trustable sites.
 
Focus on quality over quantity. Topically relevant niche edits, or authority guest posts :)
 
Hi, always focus on the quality of backlinks and choose those websites with good ORM and are also related to the business.
 
Guest Posts, PBN Homepage, and Niche Edits.
Everything else is pretty much a gimmick.

Before all that, though, you might-as-well just focus on your content.
Focus an article around a top-tier topic, then for every paragraph or two, use longtail terms as new h-tags.
That's the easiest way to build strong content, but you'll need to download some keyword research from something like SpyFu, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc...
 
I suggest you just focus the backlinks that is releated to your niche because releated niche sites boost rapidly in search engine.

They way you monetize your site doesn’t really matter. What you should be looking for are sites with topics related to your niche. If you use Adsense or buysellads or woocommerce doesn’t really matter. If you have a blog about, I don’t know, fashion. You should be getting links from sites that talk about fashion, clothing, etc.
