So, I have this page - when I check it on google by myself , it shows ranking 4th for the keyword

However on market samurai, it shows ranking first for the keyword.

Which one should I rely on?

plenty of different tools will show you different rankings as well. Serpbuddy, serpbook, traffic travis, market samurai, they all (usually) show different results. I usually check my google rankings by myself using US proxy.

Manual is the best way to double check.

I also grab a US proxy to check manually for my top positions. As for the rest, i use MicrositeMasters. I have to say that i have been with them for a few months and there were no problems at all and the rankings are usually very much the same as when i check manually.

The geo location of the IPs could affect the positioning too. Also, use Firefox or Chrome's private browsing when you check them.

Just check it manually with a US proxy, different tools will give you different results based on the geographical location of their IPs.

I also go for manual check... You can use some tools to make an idea where you may be.

When manual check, as said, find a method to change your geo location using proxy or using the specific G page like: .de/.au ..etc.

Deleting cookies is a good method to get more accurate result.

Thank you

Manual check through various proxies, clear cookies each time and assume an average if your checks come up with different results.

make sure you are logged out of any Google account and have search results personalization turned off.

You can use a webproxy or rank tracker to check for the best results
