Wow,

I found a really confusing thing.
I looked my SERP at http://www.google.de and I'm on 6th page!

If I look at http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en I'm on 2nd page!

It's the same thing with all of my keywords! All of them are GERMAN keywords. :slomo:

What is going on there?

PLEASE HELP ME!

.de and .com are different indexes. I always have diff positions especially at the beginning when check .com and .ca

pk

Can you explain why on the same index, if I am logged in to Gmail & search-- I'm #10, for a certain keyword but if I log out, I'm #5?

You Should tell Google for what country your website has been made (they can do it automatically, but somethimes they make a mistake), these are the steps you could take:

- Sign up for www.google.com/webmasters
- Set your target country to germany
- try to get a .de domain name
- Have german text on your website (95% of germans speak german)
- Have links from german sites
- Be sure your server is located in germany
- If targetting multiple countries on one website use the country code in the subdomain (if you don't have all the country tld's) and create seperated profiles for all of them in google webmasters.

This will help!

Cheers

All major search engine do this... They try to show visitors searches relevant to them or their country... I mean "Localized Results"...

Dude, it's the same for me. All german keywords. All sites rank higher on google.com than on .de.

I did the webmaster trick though right after putting a site up and even before it was indexed.

the true results (serps) is when you logged out your google account.

yes you will get higher serp position in your country or your site language or backlinks

Hey,

thank you! I tried it out and will post whether it helped me or not!
I made a .de-Domain and configured a 301 to my .com Domain!
Most of my backlinks are English sites. I think I have to improve links from german sites.
Is it a big problem?
My server is located in Germany, I have 100% German text!
Is it okay to have english backlink sites or am I have to set more german links?

Regards
