So I checked my website, and on my MAC and im the 11th site on google and on my PC im the 13th site on google for the same keyword, anybody know why?

Try clearing your cookies. Google sometimes skews your results based on what sites you visit.

check you haven't got google personalised web search enabled on one of them too

There might be different reasons. Not sure but you might be connecting to different data centers of G. Clean your cookies they personalize search results.

If you're logged onto your Google account then your results will be personalized.

I'm a bit depressed today.. last night one of my site appeared to be in position 1 for two of my major search terms (it's a new site and I only started a little while ago).. turned out it was actually position 4/5 and I was signed into the wrong bastard account with the wierd Google we-know-where-you-are shiznit going on :-(

Could be perfectly possible that G also considers the user-agent. Mac-user characteristics are: wasting money for overprized hardware, focusing quality, tech-experienced, academic background, etc. Why not using that? G tricked my also sometimes, when I checked for my own sites being on high serp-position up to the moment where I cleared the cookies.

Hmm this is not the first time I have heard of this. There is also a thread on here that someone says they have different results in Internet Explorer and Firefox.
