Different Name On Ebay & Paypal. Do They Care?

I have a different name on my ebay account than the one I have on my paypal account and I am about to connect them. Is this a smart move or could my paypal account be put on hold? do they care?

they will connect them. they share all information now.

I'm not sure for permanent connection but I used one-time payments with such scenario many many times in the past years, without problems.

(I have 100+ 100% feedback, but I'm sure I did it even when I was new..)

they dont care about names dude. wen accounts get linked they dont always link them immediately. they will compare accounts and check for similarities. if theres alot then they will link
