Different methods

Hey,

My name is Andrew..I'm new here..blah blah....introduction.

I've been out of the affiliate game (and $$ from the internet) for a few years and obviously everything has changed dramatically.

I'm looking for information sources on various ways to promote and make money from affiliate products and PPA. I'm not interested in using adsense or advertising with adwords.

Right now the only method I'm familiar with is using web 2.0 platforms to rank in the top 10 for certain keywords to promote affiliate products.

Can someone please point me to some resources (whether on this site or another) on different methods (white/black/grey hat..any kind) that still work currently.

I'm also wanting to learn exactly how the whole myspace marketing (i wont call it spamming) works. I have FriendBlaster Pro and I'm signed up to some CPA companies....would like more info.

Any help would be just awesome. I only have a few affiliate sites so far and am only up to around $15 a day. $50 a day is my first goal.

I have found that to start making money online you need to try nearly every type of money making idea, fail a dozen times, lose money to the point of quiting. QUIT. Try again a month later. Eventually, you will find out what you enjoy doing the most. This is the most important point of my post. Writing with passion creates an impulse purchase from your prospect. Someone once told me, "When you talk to someone on the phone you can tell if they are smiling". Same goes for writing an ad. (Ie. Affiliate Marketing), consumers can tell when they read something whether or not its honest and was written by someone with true passion behind the subject. This is what is behind the best selling ebooks on eBay. These ebooks are a joke, 10 page ebooks about selling tickets through ebay....but the person writing the ebook actually practices what he preaches and you can see it in his writing. Whether or not their pictures of Lambos they own or Mansions they recently bought are actually theirs is another story. Yet,ultimately, gaining trust and credibility behind his ebook. Brainstorm all the subjects your are interested in...create content about one of the subjects, post online, gain traffic. This of course is WH, but you can apply the same techniques to BH. Ie. Content generator, Article submitters.

Also, PORN sells. I have learned that there are ways to promote "ways to make money with porn". Its such a huge industry and there are plenty of room for new players. I am not a huge porn fan but their are resources available to the masses that make money you money selling porn. I read a poorly put together ebook about making money with porn. XxxInnerCircles Guide to Porn Profits. Again, poorly put together ebook and website, but popular. The author listed affiliate programs that have the highest payouts. I posted the download link in the Free Ebook section here at BHW.

Something to think about, reports are all over the internet about the Web 2.0 balloon popping sometime soon. Still, worth using until then.

I have mentioned in other posts that craigslist still works. Its TEDIOUS work, but paysoff, I ran a dry run of a product by asking if anyone would buy it if I posted it on Craigslist. I got a response almost immediatly. So, seeing a demand for the product I knew I was not going to be "flagged" by the users. So, I posted the ad. Each sale resulting in $100 plus profit. I didnt do this alot but I found a simple way to make money. Oh, and BTW I didnt come up with this idea myself. I got it from a craigslist ebook called....cashflow craigslist.

No, that I am suprised thats not flagged yet. SF has alot of Flag Nazis. Anyways, no, I actually applied a method I found in the last video at cashflowcraigslist dot com I think i payed like 10 bucks for the system.

hootnholla - was that some type of affiliate product you were selling on Craigs List? I've tried a few ideas on CL and have always ended up having my ads removed, etc...

What type of products / offers can you get away with selling on CL?

I did a "testi" for craigslist cashflow so I wont give away too much about this subject. Anyways, i drop ship craigslist wanted items and even post ads about my drop ship items, but there is more to this. If you dont do what they tell you to do in craigslist cashflow dot coms video series, your ads will be taken down quick and your ip will get banned.

I say use as many free marketing strategies as you can.

If you know how to find and use good proxies you can make good money with these sites.

just a quick note about advertising on craigslist: many affiliate networks will ban you if they see you driving traffic from craigslist.

if you do use CL for advertising, at least use a redirect.
