Different IP's on the same virtual server

    If I was to host multiple websites on the same dedicated server/virtual server but have different dedicated IP's for each site, would Google be able to tell that they are on the same server still?

    Ie would it affect the link juice between those sites?

    the only way to tell if they are all on one server is to lookup the ip class whois for the ip network, but i highly doubt they are doing that..

    Or they could use their easy access to domain registration details (google is an accredited domain registrar) and notice the name servers pointing to the different IPs are the same. They're not necessarily doing this, but they've had the capability since at least 2005, and it's been discussed before.

    Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I will go this route with different name servers :)
