Different domains for PPC landing page? or one site for all?

Hi,

I'm relatively new to affiliate marketing and trying to find an answer to the following conundrum:

1) Should I buy new domains for each offer (expensive) or could I use a single domain with a generic name and use different pages ie amazingdeals.com/great-deal1 & amazingdeals.com/great-deal2 (obviously cheaper).

Please bear in mind I will be driving paid traffic to the offers so seo is not an issue (I think).

2) Lastly, could I make the homepage inaccessible so people aren't confused?

I think it unfortunately your choice, but the big boys use 1 domain on each project a .com, no matter what niche or offer.

I setup a complete website and just use a web domain that can be wide spread over many products.

example. let say i get domain (itemforsale.com)
then ill use folders for the item i want to sell.

itemforsale.com/goldwatch

Then ill add a index.php in that folder and do a quick gold watch page.(done)

or you can do a sub domain way.

goldwatch.itemsforsale.com

And redirect to a folder with the correct info

what your asking is all preference, There no right or wrong way, If you really wanted to get into urls and designing better name for them, Then i suggest you read on mod_rewrite.

To get a website fully seo is a different story and would need mod_rewrite to get it on top pages of Google in some cases depending on domains.

i was told that Google don't like niche websites and restricts there traffic , so i guess that why the big boys use .com on all projects
