can anyone tell me difference between white hat and bacl hat SEO techniques?
You're asking a hard question OP.
But to put it simply...
Whitehat SEO -
Making a site that's a link magnet.
Making content that appeals directly to the "linkarati" aka already established / dominant figures in your niche or shoulder niches.
Advanced keyword techniques. Being extremely creative and going after keywords noone else is targeting.
Link prospecting through email outreach.
Finding dead links or resource pages on relevant sites, then asking the webmaster to replace the broken link with your link.
Content curation.
Making great infographics that people will naturally link to.
Other sophisticated link baiting strategies.
Editorial links.
Press releases.
Re-engineering old viral content into new viral content.
Sponsoring or making donations in return for links.
Overall... it's a lot of fucking work. The basic gist is do things that get people to "naturally" link to your site. And even though I hate white hat SEO.... it helps develop a part of your brain that BH alone never will. You need to be a smart fucking marketer to do it properly and if you learn it you can make a lot of money. Plus its much more secure in the long run (*tends to be).
Blackhat SEO -
Spamming
PBNs
Buying links in general.
There's a lot more that can be said but thats ultimately what it boils down to. I'd say PBNs are at the heart of BH SEO.
Rather than gaming people you're gaming algorithms. So in a way, even though this is a real generalized statement.... BH SEO requires you to be more of a nerd.
