Yeah, with the increase of mobile users, this thing will turn into problem for the Amz affs, which is pretty fucked up..

With Amazon on mobile devices some products don't convert the same in comparison to desktop.
Overall the mix of linking to other vendors / marketplaces would seem to incur better results.
As mentioned above people use mobile apps or simply refrain from purchasing on the go so try and convert them when sitting in front of the computer.

i have an app on my phone so only use that for buying off amazon, a couple of taps and it's ordered. so i use it and most of my friends use apps for Amazon, so much easier. You basically have the Amazon store in the palm of your hand, and as most people can't do without their phones nowadays it means a lot more impulse buying. Far easier than getting out a laptop, logging in, searching and then going through the checkout.
