If I'm using different Twitter accounts on the same ip address and they are often tweeting links to the same domain, do you think Twitter picks up on that? Does it help to mix it up on each account with some links to other domains, too?
Im currently linking to the same domian but my accounts I'm using are on separate proxies. You tshould separate them if possible or alternate the way you tweet the links for example have Account A tweet the 1st and 3rd week of the month and Account B tweets 2nd and 4th week
Just wanted to bump this to see if anyone else has thoughts on whether bitly, owly and similar shorteners make a difference. Can Twitter see the domain "behind" the shortened links? I'm talking about links to an AdSense-monetized website, not affiliate links or anything like that.
Nope they don't make any difference, I have extensively used bit.ly, vcb, sum.ly, etc
They don't make a difference when you search for your url as a keyword. Twitter shows the bit.ly link despite you search for xyzdomain.com. So, there you go!
