What the different between these two views ? How does it effect the video?

Tried the search function, couldn't find anything about mobile views.

Thanks

1) Mobile views have no effect on video rankings! They are just to increase your view count number to look cool.
2) Retention views means that person views 90-100% of your video length. That's why they have a HUGE impact on rankings! Use them to rank your video.

Not true the 1
I rank videos with mobile views and it works pretty well.

With HR views u can rank easily. Ex. with 10k HR views you can rank video like with 100k non-retention mobile views!

yeah, 1 is not correct... mobile views still help for your rankings, not as before, but they still do.

The difference - well you didn't specify :) because there are also high retention mobile views.
Now if we are talking about watch time between Referrer HR and low Retention Mobile Views then the difference is quite big.

Regular/Low Retention Mobile Views have approximately a second watch time (this differentiates of course).

In terms of ranking there is no evidence to support the statement that you will loose rank with mobile views.
People misunderstand the ranking factors - specially the age of the video (which will help you decide what type of views you would want in order to rank properly).

Lets look at it that way , A Human is Human Views are Views..... The only difference between mobile and embed (Desktop) views is that with embed views you can appear in trending section if you send from many referrers which is not worth that much really who looks at that section anyways :p ....

I noticed also a fascinating thing, A huge youtuber with lots of subs like 100K+ subsm, Once he posts a video with a keyword in title he will rank for it because of the viral views he will get from his subs ... so keywords like justin bieber or any other huge keywords for them its easy to dominate ....

"Search for High Audience retention views". They are worth at least 10 times more than mobile etc.

Geo targeted AND retention ... Now THAT is the Daddy of them all.

Well it depends. If both the mobile and computer views are high retention views then they will have the same impact because both contains the important information like retention rate and watch - end time.

On the other hand, normal views with less than 30 sec. watch time will have less impact no matter if it is mobile views or computer (PC) views...

Views are not the only thing which matters in ranking a video. The following things are important:

1. Views - Tons of views to outrank the competition.
2. Channel Age - This is a really important factor. YouTube takes it as a trust factor.
3. Subs, Likes, Comments - This shows the engagement rate of your audience.

A good combination of all these things can easily take you to the page one.

Honestly, not much is the answer and both are good for Video Rankings, depending on the source and quality, including retention time/rate and more, of the provider. Like when i use HighRetentionView.Com , my rankings increase most of the time because i'm getting High Retention Rates on each view so quality wise, it's a great provider!
