The difference is it is just some shit post to fill a useless SEO blog. Most what is being described as SEO2 is what is know as Whitehat SEO, in other words a waste of time if you actually want your website to be ranked within the next ten years.

This my own interpretation when I compare the two. SEO 2.0 is focus more on quality content than quantity of sites.

Gotta agree with micky. I find that 'blackhat', which is basically anything thats not whitehat, works much better. my whitehat sites get shoved down the ranks just as much as the BH ones.
