  • Widgets: These are small, interactive elements or tools placed on a website's front end, often in areas like sidebars or footers. They display content or features to users, such as recent posts, search boxes, or calendars. Widgets are user-facing and don’t modify how the site functions.

In short: Plugins add power, and widgets display that power.
