difference between web 2.0 "Profile" & regular web 2.0???

Just wondering what the difference between the two is.

I'm combing thru fiverr trying to find someone who will create 50+ web 2s for my inner pages.

Keep coming across web 2.0 'profiles' & I'm scratching my head?


Anyone care to explain?

Think of a web 2.0 profile link similar to a forum profile backlink.

Web 2.0 profile's are links that are included in "about me" sections, they are normally higher PR and more authoritative then a forum profile backlink.

The Web 2.0 you are probably thinking about are blogs - That is where you go and create a blog and submit your article to that blog (think wordpress, blogger, hubpages, squidoo, etc.) with contextual backlinks.

Web 2.o Profiles Are one that have link in the about me section, or in the signature like in forums. In this there is basically a small description as well. However The Regular Web 2.0 properties you can submit your articles/posts and can have great high pr backlinks and traffic too.
